The existence of Jaguar I-Pace isn’t a complete surprise as its preview concept has already been unveiled at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. And just recently, the British automaker has firmly committed to revealing the concept’s production example in the internet on March 1 before its public launch at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Jaguar I – Pace‘s world introduction as a fully electric crossover is scheduled on March 6. The Tata-owned brand has decided to entice car lovers with the new details about the first-ever Jaguar lacking a combustion machine.

Car makers are yet to disclose the exact battery capabilities of the I-Pace but alluded to carry over the technology from the prototype. They are also yet to disclose its fast charging abilities with an 80% charge level in less than 45 minutes when using a DC 100kW charger.

In addition, Jaguar has released a gallery with final near production prototypes of the zero emission SUV while performing cold weather testing close to the Jaguar Land Rover’s facility in Arjeplog, Sweden. The vehicles were earlier tested to temperatures as low as -40 degrees and a special attention was also paid to the prowess of the all wheel drive system.
