Land Rover has stolen the scene at the recently concluded Geneva Motor Show with the launch of its latest model, the Range Rover SV Coupe. A two-door, full-size luxury SUV, this newly unveiled car is based on a heavily modified L405 Range Rover but shares the same exterior parts such as the lower tailgate, bonnet, fuel flap and lights.

The SV Coupe is powered by a 565PS and 700Nm 5.0-litre supercharged V8. It also comes with the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, which enables it to make the 0-60mph sprint in 5.0 seconds and have a speed of 165mph, which is faster than any standard Range Rover.

What's more, the color palette extends to 100 shades with finishes in matt or gloss, on top of 'match to sample' hues. The Contour Graphic provides the flanks with a contrasting tint from the side vents back, while the Liquesence paint option brings a 'liquid metal' finish. There are also new wheel designs offered in 21, 22 and 23 inches--the latter being a first on a production Range Rover.

The two-tone cabin exudes delicate craftsmanship and mega luxury at its finest. The 20-way front and 10-way electrically adjustable rear graduated diamond quilt seats may also be specified in various colors.

Moreover, there are new wood finishes such as sycamore and fused walnut or palisander on the door casings, steering wheel, instrument panel, loadspace floor and center console, reminiscent of the L322 Ultimate Edition Range Rover.

The new SUV also features door handles, bespoke headrest embroidery, treadplates, engraving and semi-precious metal badging. To take the passengers' road trips to the next level, the SV Coupe also comes with the 1700-watt, 23-speaker sound system featuring Trifield 3D 'concert sound' technology.

The chassis has also been altered and now has an 8mm lower stance. Meanwhile, the SUV retains its 900mm maximum wading depth, Active Locking Rear Differential, and Terrain Response 2.

Reports say that the SV Coupe will hit dealerships in the fourth quarter of this year. To ensure a satisfactory car ownership experience, Land Rover also provides a five-year Care Package, covering the brake replacement service.
