The advent of the SV Coupe, the P400e, and the Velar saw Land Rover's lineup expand remarkably for the very first time in several years. This is why the British automaker doesn't have plans to hit the brakes anytime soon as reports claim that the company could be eyeing to unveil two more vehicles by 2020, including its first-ever electric car.

In accordance with Autocar, the Road Rover will share its electric components including the aluminum-intensive platform, with the Jaguar XJ. Hence, the two vehicles will have comparable specifications to Jaguar’s new I-Pace electric crossover both in efficiency and performance. It will also get inspiration from luxury competitors such as the Volvo S90 and Audi A4 Allroad, but it won't be a posh saloon as previously reported.

When it comes to pricing, the new Road Rover will reportedly be positioned towards the top-end of the range.
