Jaguar fans, it is time to rejoice. Just recently, Jaguar Canada has announced the details of its 2019 F-PACE model, which will reportedly get a mid-generation refresh, with interior and aesthetic tweaks as well as some additions to the equipment roster. However, the exciting news concerns the launch of a fresh variant of the F-PACE.

For the very first time in the British automaker's history, an SUV will carry its distinguished SVR letters. Reports say that the variant will be powered by a 5L supercharged V8 engine cranking out 550 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. It will enable the vehicle to reach 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, which is amazing for an SUV of this size.

What's more, the SVR version will feature larger brake discs, sport-tuned steering, and high-performance suspension elements. It will also have unique visual clues such as exclusive lower body sides, front and back bumpers, and a rear spoiler which is designed to reduce drag coefficient, cool the engine and enhance stability at high speeds. Plus, they provide the F-PACE with a more muscular stance.

In the interior, the SVR spirit is also dominant. Passengers can indulge in sportier seats that are embossed with SVR badging and offer more support. The gear shifter also looks sportier and the steering wheel comes with a paddle shifter mounted on it.

The 2019 F-PACE will come in 10 variants with five various engine selections.
